Asmaçatı Shopping Center and Meeting Point was designed by Tabanlıoğlu Architecture and completed in 2011.
A semi-open shopping center in Balçova, which is an extension of the Aegean lifestyle, inspired by the tendency of Izmirites to spend time outdoors and the opportunities of the climate. Asmaçatı Shopping and Meeting Point not only a place where shopping is made, but also designed. With an outward-facing architecture meeting the street, under the gazebo of the Aegean for the Asmaçatı shopping and living center project,
from the concept of passing. Inspired by leaves and vines, located on the roof of the center, generally based on the traditional arbor pattern surrounded by ivy plants on the top or sides Metal the shelter provided a sheltered open air space. This emphasis was supported by using elements that create the arbor feeling outside the building.
